What a real inspection found

Our August 4, 2026 inspection of a 2017 Honda CR-V documented details a buyer could easily miss on a quick walkaround.

Low coolant level

The coolant looked fine, but its level was low. No obvious leak was visible during the inspection; the report recorded it for further investigation.

Sticking driver’s door

The door stuck slightly when opening and closing. The inspector documented possible hinge or latch adjustment and evidence of prior bodywork.

Third brake light out

The center brake light at the top of the rear hatch did not operate. The report also recorded estimated front and rear brake-pad life of 40% and 60%.

These are observations from one vehicle at the time of inspection. Use the linked report to see the findings in context.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our inspection service

How long does an inspection take?

Most inspections take 60-90 minutes depending on the vehicle and package selected. We never rush - thoroughness is more important than speed. You'll typically receive your detailed report within 2–3 minutes after the inspector completes and submits the inspection, with HD video updated separately if it is still processing.

Can I be present during the inspection?

Absolutely! We encourage buyers to attend if possible. You can ask questions, see the process firsthand, and learn about the vehicle. If you can't be there, our video documentation ensures you won't miss anything.

What if the seller won't allow an inspection?

That's a major red flag. Any legitimate seller should welcome a professional inspection. If they refuse, we strongly recommend walking away - they may be hiding something significant.

Do you inspect vehicles at dealerships?

Yes! We inspect vehicles anywhere in our service area - private homes, dealerships, parking lots, or anywhere the vehicle is located. Many dealerships allow third-party inspections.

What happens if you find major issues?

We document everything and provide detailed explanations in your report. You can use our findings to negotiate a lower price, request repairs, or decide to walk away. The decision is always yours - we just provide the facts.

Is the inspection a guarantee the car won't have problems?

No inspection can predict every future issue. We provide a thorough assessment of the vehicle's current condition, but we cannot guarantee future performance. Think of it as a snapshot of the car's health at the time of inspection.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson and surrounding Upstate communities, plus regional appointments toward Charlotte and Columbia within approximately three hours of driving from Greenville, plus Atlanta and surrounding communities up to four hours away. Coverage depends on the exact vehicle address, traffic and travel schedule. Enter the vehicle address to see available appointments and book online. Travel is included in the package price.

How do I schedule an inspection?

Click any "Book Your Inspection" button on this page to schedule online. Choose your package, select a date and time, and provide the vehicle location. We'll confirm within a few hours and send you all the details.
